Margaret R. Preska Residence Community

Opening Fall 2012 - Our newest residence community provides housing for nearly 500 students in semi-suite and renovated style housing.  About Margaret R. Preska.

 

Adjacent to the McElroy Residence Community, the community has four halls: I (formerly McElroy I Hall), J, K, and L. All of the modern semi-suites in J, K, and L Halls have two bedrooms and a full, compartmentalized bathroom. Most of the semi-suites house four residents, and a limited number single semi-suites are available. Renovated rooms in I Hall offer traditional double rooms.

 

The main floor of this community includes classrooms, the First Year Experience office, and gathering spaces, with residential spaces on floors two, three, and four of J, K, and L Halls and floors one through four in I Hall. This community is adjacent to Carkoski Commons, providing indoor access to the Carkoski Dining Hall.

• All four floors of I Hall remain a part of McElroy through the 2011-2012 academic year and are considered a part of the Preska Residence Community for the 2012-2013 academic year
• The first floors of J, K, and L are community spaces. There is no residential housing on the first floor of these halls.
