Margaret R. Preska Residence Community

Page address:

Our newest residence community, built in 2012, provides housing for nearly 500 students in semi-suite and renovated style housing. About Margaret R. Preska.

Adjacent to the McElroy Residence Community, the Preska Community has four halls: I, J, K, and L. All of the modern semi-suites in J, K, and L Halls have two bedrooms and a full, compartmentalized bathroom. Most of the semi-suites house four residents, and a limited number single semi-suites are available. Renovated rooms in I Hall offer traditional double rooms.

Preska and McElroy Residence Communities house Learning Communities which are part of the Office of New Student and Family Programs, also located in Preska.  The main floor of the Preska Residence Community includes classrooms, gathering spaces, with residential spaces on floors two, three, and four of J, K, and L Halls and floors one through four in I Hall.

This community is adjacent to Carkoski Commons, providing indoor access to the Carkoski Dining Hall.

Preska Residence Community: 2014-2015

Note: The first floors of J, K, and L are community spaces. There is no residential housing on the first floor of these halls.
