2013-2014 Academic Year Dates

Application Deadline

The Department of Residential Life begins accepting online and paper Housing Applications, Housing Contracts and the $250 Housing Prepayment on October 1, 2012.  Remember to print out the parental/guardian consent and send it to the Residential Life office if the student is currently under 18 years of age.

There is no application deadline. Housing reservations will be accepted as long as there is space available.

Prepayment

A $250 prepayment is required to reserve housing. Your prepayment will be applied to your fall semester residence hall charges.

Prepayment Refund

Reservations may be cancelled in writing, online, or by email on or before July 1, 2013, and have $200 of the $250 prepayment refunded.

Applications sent in after July 1 are not eligible for any refund.

Canceling A Reservation

Reservations may be cancelled in writing, online, or by email until August 21, 2013. Cancellations are not accepted after August 21, 2013. $200 of the $250 prepayment is refundable if your cancellation is received (or postmarked) by July 1, 2013.

Room Assignments

Room assignments will be sent to you by email and will be available online beginning June 20, 2013.

Roommate Information

Due to the number of cancellations we receive over the summer, information about your roommate will be available online on July 20, 2013. This allows us to provide you with the most accurate information about your roommate.

Fall Move-In Day

The first day new students may move into the residence halls is Thursday, August 22, 2013.

Priority Move-In - Students in the Learning Communities program have the option of moving in on August 21 from 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Read more about Priority - Move-In during July 2013.
