MACURH Leadership Conference is Seeking Conference Delegates

Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your leadership skills?

Would you like to meet student leaders living in residential communities all over the Midwest?

Do you want to represent MSU and show your school spirit and pride?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider applying to attend the MACURH Regional Leadership Conference!  This conference will take place November 4-6, 2016 at Northwest Missouri State University.  Our Residence Hall Association (RHA) sends a delegation each year and are looking for interested students to be a part of this year's group!  The opportunity is completely free and involvement prior to the conference is a 1-hour weekly meeting to prepare for the experience.  Applications can be found here.  If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Anderson or Kirsten AndrewsApplications are due Friday, September 30th by noon!

National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is Accepting Applications

If you are looking for a way to get involved with an organization focused on Recognition and Service, consider joining NRHH!

The National Residence Hall Honorary is the top 1% of Residential Life student leaders and is built upon our values of Recognition and Service.  NRHH aims to serve the MSU and Mankato communities through various efforts focused on supporting and celebrating the success of others.  Applications are open from 9/26 through 10/7 and can be found here.

Applicants must have lived on campus for at least 1 full semester prior to applying and have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher.  Questions can be directed to Mariah Sletten or Katie Schleper.  Please feel free to swing by our weekly open meetings as well!  They are held on Thursdays at 9 p.m. in Carkoski 009 (lower level).

Opportunity: Regional Business Conference Volunteer Chair













MSU has been selected as the host site of the MACURH Regional Business Conference in February 2017.  This conference serves upwards of 150 students from residence halls around the Midwest and focuses on legislation, strategic planning, and elections for the MACURH organization each year.

Our Dr. Seuss-inspired theme of "Turning the Page" is sure to get participants excited about being innovative and forward-thinking in what they can achieve on their home campuses and regionally through MACURH.

The Conference Staff has been working hard since the Fall of 2015 to bring this conference to MSU.  There is currently 1 vacancy on the Conference Staff Team, the Volunteer Chair.  This position will require approximately 3-5 hours of work a week from now until the conference takes place February 10-12, 2017.
