Fill Out Your Survey For a Chance to Win an iPad!

You should have recently received an email request to fill out a very short survey about your Community Advisor (CA) and your living environment.  If you have not already done so, please fill out the survey - we value your feedback!

You will soon receive the second electronic survey about your experience living in the residence communities.

These surveys focus on many areas of your residential living experience.  While we hope you indicate you are satisfied with most areas of your experience living on campus this year, we look forward to hearing from you about the areas in which we can improve.

When you complete the residence community experience survey, you will have a chance to win an iPad!

In addition, the floor in each residence community with the highest completion percentage of BOTH surveys will win a $100 pizza party from Residential Life! Your observations are important factors in recognizing the positive contributions of CAs and helping them improve in areas that impact you and your living community.

Residential Life Leadership Experience

What CHANGE can you make?  An active and engaging five week leadership series! Each week will be a new experience that will help you grow and develop as a leader.  Challenge courses (high and low ropes), team building activities, leadership self-assessments and exploring leadership opportunities are just the beginning!

Two 5-session classes are being offered:

  • Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., October 17 - November 14, or
  • Thursdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., October 18 - November 15

To register, click  HERE and complete the form by Friday, October 12.  Participation is limited to the first 40 students. Please contact Matt Goff at with any questions.

House Party

Student Health Services/Health Education Office will co-host an educational event called House Party on Thursday, October 18 from 8:30 - 10:30 p.m.  Vans will be available to take people to and from the house.  The van pick up and drop off sites are in front of Julia Sears, Preska and at the bus stop in Stadium Heights.  Come have fun with your friends at this annual event!

In an effort to educate students on the dangers of high-risk drinking, the mock house party is an event where students explore a house party in an off campus house from a sober perspective.  Student volunteers act out scenarios that students may have encountered at a real house party.  After going through the house party students will have the opportunity to talk about the experience.
