Check Out the "Celebrate Brazil!" Event Crawford Hosted on February 18, 2015
When Crawford C&D staff began to think about what kind of diversity event they wanted to do, they knew they wanted something that would make a big impact. The group recognized how many students from Brazil there were attending MSU, Mankato and the high number of these students that lived in the hall. Being such, they decided that doing a cultural event on Brazil would be the perfect way for all participants to learn something new about another part of the world and their tradition.
The event did not disappoint and was complete with Brazilian student volunteers to share their culture in a meaningful and authentic way through homemade desserts, appetizers, drinks, music, a question corner, language station, pop culture quizzes, displays of common culture, craft, dance, and a live impromptu band! While the event itself went to 11:00 P.M., participants stayed hours later to continue enjoying the fun. Thanks to all 150 participants and volunteers who made this a WOW to remember! Check out some pictures & video of the evening!
Review Your 2015-2016 Meal Plan Options Today!
Meal plan options for the 2015-2016 academic year are now available to review. Students with confirmed Minnesota State University, Mankato housing reservations may select their 2015-2016 meal plan using E-services beginning February 1, 2015.
Contact ResTech Services with Internet Service Questions
Internet service is better when an ethernet cord is used to plug your device into the wall jack. Restart your device so it connects to the hard-wired Internet jack instead of searching for the wireless. If problems persist see ResTech Services. Improvements to wireless service are planned and will be implemented in summer 2015.
All Floor and Hall communities plan their own activities and events. It is important to watch for posters and to contact your Community Advisor (CA) about which Social Media will best keep you updated with activities, meetings, and fun last minute events!
