Laundry

There is no additional charge to use the washers and dryers in the residence communities.

How It Works:

1. Review the Options

Here are our laundry locations:

Crawford - Lower level near the Crawford lobby (there are booths available for you to work on homework while you wait)
Julia Sears - Laundry room on each floor (key access only for the floor you live on)
McElroy - Lower level near the McElroy lobby  I (there are booths available for you to work on homework while you wait)
Preska J - Each floor (key access only for the floor you live on)
Preska K - Each floor (key access only for the floor you live on)
Preska L - Each floor (key access only for the floor you live on)

Preska L also has a lower level laundry room (there are tables and chairs to work on homework while you wait, computer access and a t.v. lounge)

2. Consider Time

Washers take approximately 45 minutes per load

Dryers take approximately 45 minutes per load

3. Supplies You Will Need

1. 'he' approved liquid laundry detergent
2. DON'T use 3-in-1 detergent-softeners as they will damage the machine.
  

 

 

 

4. What To Do If A Machine Is Not Working

 

PLEASE report a service issue by:

 3. Be as specific as possible; Write "Washing machine does not spin out clothes completely." vs "Washing machine is not working."

5. Lost and Found Laundry 

 During the year, lost property is turned into the front desk of the community in which the property was found. The property is then tagged and turned over to University Security. Any personal items discovered in the residence halls after a student has terminated his/her contract or left the residence halls are turned over to University Security.
