Welcome to the home page of the Rural Minnesota Journal and the Rural Minnesota Forum. These two programs are at the core of the Center's strategy to reach out to all Minnesotans interested in the future and well-being of rural Minnesota.
We are pleased to announce that the Rural Minnesota Journal, our signature publication, won a Gold Award at the Minnesota Magazine and Publications Association's 2007 Excellence Award for best single-topic issue in a special-interest publication with circulation under 60,000. Each issue of RMJ focuses on one topic, bringing together some of the state's leading experts in their fields. The newest issue of Rural Minnesota Journal is now available. RMF is the follow-up to RMJ, giving readers (and anyone else interested) the opportunity to come together and engage with the RMJ authors and other experts. The next Rural Minnesota Forum will take place June 18 in Duluth. To find out more, visit the RMF page.
