Our web site has changed!

As we grow and evolve, we decided it was time for a new look for our web site. Please note, that the addresses for many of the pages have changed and you may have to change some of your bookmarks accordingly. Going to www.ruralmn.org will get you to the new homepage, and you will be able to access all the new pages through those links.

Now available: Rural Minnesota Journal, Education volume

The second issue of Rural Minnesota Journal is now available to order or to download from our site. This issue tackles the topic of "Educating Rural Minnesota's Children," with original articles by education experts from around the state. Center receives two-year challenge grant

The Center for Rural Policy and Development has been awarded a two-year challenge grant from the McKnight Foundation that will match dollar for dollar any new and increased memberships and sponsorships to the Center. Latest newsletter is on the site

The Summer 2006 newsletter is up on our web site.This issue contains a Q&A with Curt Heidt of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, explaining what that bank for banks does for rural Development. There are also articles on the proposed motor vehicle sales tax amendment that will be on the ballot this fall and news on the upcoming issue of Rural Minnesota Journal, its associated forum in November, and review of the 2006 Legislative session.


Atlas of Minnesota, Online Edition

The Atlas of Minnesota is now online, with updated maps and downloadable chapters. Visit the different map pages to view data for each county, or download pdfs and Powerpoint slides for reports and presentations.
