The Journal took first place in the category of single-topic issue in a special-interest publication with circulation under 60,000. The MMPA's Annual Excellence Awards recognize best-in-class work published by Minnesota-based magazines. More than 700 entries were judged in four basic categories: General Interest, Special Interest, Business/Trade and Association.
