If you've read the latest issue of the Rural Minnesota Journal (or even if you haven't), please join us for the Rural Minnesota Forum, the Center for Rural Policy and Development's newest venue for the discussion and debate of issues and policies of significance to rural Minnesota.

Every Rural Minnesota Forum follows each new issue of the Rural Minnesota Journal, giving everyone an opportunity to engage with many of the authors and other experts featured and discuss with them the issues presented in the Journal.

The subject of the first Rural Minnesota Forum will be "Educating Rural Minnesota's Children," based on the latest issue of the Rural Minnesota Journal, which was released Sept. 5 and is now available by mail or on our web site. Some of the topics for this one-day forum include enrollment trends in Greater Minnesota, closing the gap on educational disparities, educational funding, early childhood education, and alternative educational models (Tentative agenda).

The forum will take place at:
The Crowne Plaza
(formerly Radisson Riverfront)
11 E. Kellogg Blvd. • St. Paul

Registration: $40 non-CRPD members • $25 CRPD members

Please join us for "Educating Rural Minnesota's Children." We are currently taking registrations. Click to download and print out a registration form, or click here to register online.
