Dental health care is another significant but sometimes overlooked part of the total health care picture. Dentist numbers are estimated by the Minnesota Department of Health's Office of Rural Health and Primary Care based on their health care workforce survey and therefore are affected by the number of dentists who do (or do not) respond to the survey.
