MinnesotaCare, 2008

MinnesotaCare was created as a health insurance program to cover the poorest of the working poor, families whose employers do not offer insurance or can only offer it at prices that are unaffordable. Overall, 2.3% of the state population was enrolled in MinnesotaCare as of August 2008.
