Infant mortality rate, 2002-2006

While the rate of infant mortality is very low in most Minnesota counties, the map documents pockets of high rates, especially in northern counties. The infant mortality rate for the state is 5.0. Because of the overall low numbers, however, these rates should only be used as approximations and for comparison.
