Public assistance payments per capita, 2006

Public assistance payments include familiy assistance, food stamp payments, general assistance, supplemental security payments and other income maintenance benefits for needy families. It does not include medical payments or farm program payments. The average public assistance payment for Minnesota (all public assistance payments for the year divided by the total population) was $358.
