Tell us about yourself

I arrived at Minnesota State Mankato to serve as Associate Registrar in June of 2005 from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus as a registrar/degree auditor for the School of Education. Previously I worked in residential life operations and other college student personnel positions.

Why is a diverse campus important to you?

Diversity is essential to the vibrancy of the university community. It enhances the overall essence and substance of the learning process within a higher educational setting. Institutional support is critical to successfully implement this objective through a variety of programmatic and assessment measures. I currently serve as Co-Chair for the Student Affairs Employee Diversity Committee and also am a member of the Pan-African Professional Support group on campus.

Hobbies, interests, community involvement

I enjoy spending time with my family and keeping my kids involved in organized activities. I reside in the bedroom community of St. Peter, 15 minutes outside of Mankato.
