Projects will be inspected for rules violations (protocol) before the actual judging process at the Middle School/Senior High Division. Ideally, all certification form "copies" should be sent to the Regional Science Fair Office with registration (or shortly thereafter), but forms will be accepted up to one month PRIOR to the fair. The certification forms will be checked prior to fair and should have time to be fixed. It is important for students/educators to keep the originals of the certification forms - ONLY COPIES should be sent to our office. Those bringing certification forms for the first time on fair day, there may be difficulties in trying to correct them. If these violations cannot be corrected, the student will receive only a ribbon and not be eligible for any special or grand awards. Students must not change the project after inspection.
At the Elementary Division, projects will be inspected for rules violations (protocol) by the SRC/IRB Committee. If these violations cannot be corrected, the student will only receive a ribbon and will not be eligible for any special or grand awards.
