There are several different ways to register. Initially, the coordinator from a school will sign up his/her school(s). This process is available online or a form is available in PDF format to download. School's SF coordinator will decide upon the username and password for his/her school in order to register the school.
Two school registrations will need to completed for schools entering both the Junior/Senior High Division and the Elementary Division. The science fair coordinator will pass on the username and password to each of his/her teachers or advisors. Advisors will enter student registrations using the login and password. Fees for 2009 fairs will be $15 per person/per project.
Preferred deadline for school registration is January 1, 2009 for Junior/Senior High Division of the regional science fair (which would only allow 9 days for students to register projects or research papers - and schools may wish to register earlier.)
Preferred deadline for school registration for Elementary Division is March 1, 2009.
Both paper and project registration deadline for the Junior/Senior High Division is Friday, January 9, 2009. Project deadline for the Elementary Division is Monday, March 23, 2009.
Registration of the schools by these dates will ensure the most up-to-date information from the Regional Science Fair Office.
Advisors should supervise their students' registration forms. BE SURE TO PRINT AND SAVE A COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION FORM FOR YOUR OWN USE. An email will be sent to the coordinator in confirmation of the registration(s) within five to ten business days after the registration deadline date. Only one registration form needs to be filled out for team projects or team papers. Be sure to complete all the information needed. Late registrations and payments will be charged $5 per project. No late research papers will be accepted after the Friday, January 9, 2009 deadline. Late project registrations may or may not be listed in the program.
Absolutely no project registrations will be accepted after Friday, January 23, 2009 for the Junior/Senior High Division. Late projects may not be accepted for the Elementary Division, unless prior preparations have been made with the regional office.
