Page address: http://www.mnsu.edu/sciencefair/school/regfee.html

The summary of the bill may be available upon request, otherwise, a list of registered projects will be sent out via email as soon as possible following registration deadline. Exception is for the elementary division because of any hard copy project registrations which has taken up to a couple of weeks to enter. After each project registration, the SF coordinator should receive an email via the email address submitted on school signup. Review and if there is anything wrong, contact our office to make corrections or reenter the project information and let our office know to delete the one with "specific incorrect information". Contact the science.fair@mnsu.edu for any needed information. Payment not received by payment deadline may result in an additional $5 per person or $25. Fees not sent in by the assigned date (see important dates & deadlines) may result in a deletion of the student's registration. Schools are encouraged to either pay online or pay the registrations with one check and collect the fees from the students. Some schools or school organizations do choose to cover half or all of the fees for their students while some schools do not help with the fee. The registration fees have are $20 per person/per event which help cover some of the operating costs of the fair.

Coordinator/Educator Notes:

Welu team

  1. If a school is participating, then all registrations need to go through the educator or the Science Fair Coordinator. GO GREEN AND SAVE! We recommend all registrations to be submitted online. All online registrations cannot be submitted with any missing information, other than email address. Any information not submitted on the hard copy of the registration form, may cause problems. Remind all students to print out registration form prior to submission. Once a project or research paper registration has been submitted, the SF Coordinator will receive an email with all the information he/she submitted. It is best to review the registration then than to wait to receive the total school participant list later. Once the school's science fair coordinator receives the registration lists from the regional office, all information needs to be checked and reviewed as promptly as possible. Adult educators need to refer back to their original files to ensure all exhibitors are included. In the past, incorrect categories or grade levels have been entered (by school, regional office or other individuals) which caused a lot of confusion and problems for the participant on fair day. In the past, we had a couple of schools who didn't notice the omission of registrations. At our office, we will be very careful in entering the information, but schools/educators also need to be very careful in reviewing the student registration and let our office know of any changes, deletions or additions. It may work great if once a registration is submitted, and the confirming email arrives, to either print out the confirmation or have the student look at the information online in order to check for accuracy. We do need the student's address, as they may be a recipient of an special award or certificate. If student addresses are not given, then it will be our understanding that schools will give or send out whatever certificates or awards that is due a student. Other than to the University's Admissions Department and the University's Business Office, we will not pass on any personal information.
  2. If you have any trouble or questions, need verification of registrants, or changes on any registration, please email the science.fair@mnsu.edu and we will get back to as soon as we can. If ever in doubt, email us or call us early in the process rather than waiting until deadline!
