National Threat Advisorythreat advisory graphic

The nation's threat level is determined by the Department of Homeland Security.  Please note the level is not unique to our campus. The University has not received or been alerted to any specific threats and urge students, faculty and staff to go about their normal business.

We remind you to be aware of suspicious behavior and circumstances such as unauthorized people in restricted areas, and abandoned parcels, bags, vehicles or other items. Anyone wishing to report suspicious activity should contact Security at 389-2111 immediately.

The Homeland Security Advisory System is a means to disseminate information regarding the risk of terrorist acts to federal, state, and local authorities and to the American people. For more information go to the Department of Homeland Security page.

For individuals interested in actions that may be taken in response to an increased level of threat of terrorist attack please visit the Citizen Preparedness Guide, the American Red Cross, or Ready.gov
