As a result of potential security issues the Minnesota State University, Mankato, Security Department no longer honors requests for patches. Our department is cognizant that patch collecting is a legitimate hobby that many enjoy. However, our first priority is the safety and security of our campus community.
Exceptions to the above policy may be requested from within the continental United States and must originate from a law enforcement entity, university or college security department and must be submitted on department letterhead. Requests from individual, local area, public safety personnel that work cooperatively with our department can be made directly to your liaison within our department.
