Students are the backbone and the driving force behind every Campus Kitchen.

campus kitchen volunteers

Their efforts in the kitchen, on delivery, and everywhere in between make The Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, what it is. Students who work with Campus Kitchen are not just volunteers; they are seen as an integral part of the organization.

To become a Campus Kitchen volunteer, you must attend a volunteer training.

Trainings are currently being held in CSU 173:

TBA - contact Sammie for more information

There are no trainings the last 3 weeks of the semester.

These volunteer sessions are for either individuals or a group.

If you would like us to train your entire organization, we can set up a time where to attend your organization's meeting or the entire group could come to a training session. If you would like to set up a time to train your organization please email us at samantha.eckerson@mnsu.edu

Once you attend training you are officially a volunteer!

You would then be able to volunteer in the kitchen or delivering as often as you'd like. We require a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per semester because it's not conducive for us to go through the process of training for people to attend only one volunteer shift.

The cooking and delivering schedule is on the Operations Schedule page.

Thank you for your interest in Campus Kitchen. Please come to Student Activities CSU 173 to sign up for your training time. There is a sign up sheet on the front desk. If one of these times doesn't work for you, please email me and we can try to work something out! If you would like to receive more information, please contact:
