Meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m. Minutes from Saturday, May 14, 2005 were approved.
Treasurer’s Report:
Larry reported that 289 people had pre-registered for the convention. Dues paid:

CTAM Foundation
Report:
Larry
provided handouts detailing the contributors to the CTAM Foundation. General consensus that this handout was a great
idea! The handout will be updated and summarized on the Web. There are no available funds at present
because the following activities used up current available funds: The
Playwrights Center New Plays on Campus Program, the Theatre Forum at the
President’s Report:
Jill raised
the question ‘Is there a way to stay better connected’? Discussion
about the Arts Education Consortium (which roughly replaced the MN Alliance for
Arts in Education) that meets the second Wednesday of every month. Jill
is looking for two high school educators to sit on this board with her. Jill also attended Arts Advocacy Day at the
Capitol. Discussion followed. Difference between CTAM and Music is that
many Speech and Theater teachers come from other disciplines. CTAM is also
unique with the K-12, College/University combination.
President Elect:
Dan reported that everything is fine. The conference is ready to rock and roll.
Meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m. As requested by Jill it is noted that Gregg Sawyer spoke more than anyone at this meeting.
