educational program "The Dakota Commemorative March, Genocide and
Ethnic Cleansing." The program is scheduled for September 17, 2003.
Dr. Kristen Treinen,

- recipient of a 2003-2004 MSU
Teacher-Scholar Fellow grant. The project is titled: "Improving
Pedagogy in SPEE 100: Fundamentals of Speech Communication" Dr.
Treinen is working on improving the basic communication course by creating
a CD and online lectures. She is been researching technology in the
classroom, attending Eductor and Frontpage training sessions, and creating
online movies of her lectures.

Awareness survey instrument, interviews and analysis of individual
reflection papers.

"Mahkato Education Day: A Conciliatory Ceremony (2000)". This is
a 58-minute video featuring 15-year-old local community cultural diversity
education project involving Mankato
third graders, teachers and parents and Dakota and other tribal member
