AFA-NIET NATIONAL COMMITTEE

April 2003

 

Motion:  To accept a bid from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas to host the 2005 NIET.

 

Motion:  To re-elect Dr. Cynthia Carver as the AFA-NIET Committee Chair.

 

Motion:  To re-appoint Professor Larry Schnoor as the AFA-NIET Director.

 

Motion:  To re-elect Dr. Peter Pober as the Secretary of the AFA-NIET Committee.

 

Motion:  To name the NIET Scholar Series the Dr. Bruce Manchester NIET Scholar Series.

 

Motion:  To award a Top Community College Sweepstakes award at the AFA-NIET when 5 or more 2-year schools are in attendance.

 

Motion:  To levy a surcharge to each NIET entry to go directly to the NIET host school.

 

Motion:  The six hours of required academic work required for eligibility to compete at the NIET must be taken at one institution in order to represent that institution at the NIET.
