The American Forensic Association's National Individual
Events Tournament was created the AFA-NIET ALL AMERICAN INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
TEAM at its 2001 Tournament. In order to be named to this team,
individuals are selected based on three criteria: (1) scholastic
achievement, (2) AFA-NIET forensic participation, and (3) community service.
