How can I get into a class that is closed?

Many speech communication classes close early in the registration process. For Speech 100, 101 and 102, students may be able to get a spot in closed classes through the Administrative Drop program.

If this does not work, students need to contact the instructor of the course and section to which they wish admittance. For courses taught by graduate teaching assistants and adjunct faculty, students need to contact the Director of Teaching Assistants or the Department Chair, respectively. No admittance to closed sections of courses will be allowed if additional sections of the same course are still open.

Admittance to closed classes is a privilege and is rarely granted.
