What is the Speech Portfolio?

The Speech Portfolio is an ongoing project that students complete in Speech 485 (Senior Seminar). The portfolio is an online collection of student work samples and other material. The portfolio is designed to provide students a way to demonstrate what they have learned, and to allow faculty to assess student learning and make changes in the curriculum and instruction.

Students should keep copies of assignments meeting portfolio requirements (See the Portfolio Template for sample assignments; individual faculty also list assignments on course syllabi, or you can ask the faculty member). In 485, students work with the faculty teaching that course to complete the portfolio.
