Third-ranked Bulldogs snap MSU's unbeaten streak
DULUTH — The Minnesota State women's hockey team saw its team-record six-game unbeaten streak come to an end Friday, losing a 4-0 decision to third-ranked Minnesota-Duluth. The Bulldogs tallied three short-handed goals to drop the Mavericks to 8-11-6 on the season and 7-9-3 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

Just 27 seconds later, she stole a Maverick pass and netted another to give the hosts a 3-0 lead at the first break.
The Bulldog's Caroline Ouellette pushed the lead to four with the third short-handed goal of the game at the 2:41 mark of the second stanza. Sophomore netminder Laura Brennan stopped 38 shots in taking the loss.
