The Scoop
MSU and UMD are looking to get back on track after both being swept last weekend. With both trailing fifth-place Colorado College by six points, and with the Tigers not playing this weekend, one of these teams has an opportunity to make one final late season run at home ice. Minnesota State will be looking for redemption this weekend after losing and tying the Bulldogs at Midwest Wireless Civic Center at the beginning of December. MSU is 4-8-3 against UMD since 2001-02, but have not beaten the Bulldogs since Feb. 1, 2003 at MWCC.
