Alumni and Friends of Minnesota State Baseball,
Holiday Greetings to you and your family. During this time of year we think of all that we are thankful for and our alumni and friends of MSU Baseball are people that we certainly do appreciate.
Attached is our first Dugout Chatter E-Newsletter! Our goal is to keep you updated and connected more often with Maverick Baseball news.
Finals week is here and the team is currently gearing up for the 2010 season. With your help, the team will make trips to Colorado, Florida, and play eight games in the Metrodome. This year's team will be very young as we lost eight seniors last season, all of whom played a key role in capturing the Northern Sun Conference Tournament Championship.
Thank you for supporting our student-athletes so they can fulfill their dreams like so many of you did while you were a Maverick. The MSU baseball staff and their families want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!

Weston Weber inducted into MSU Hall of Fame
Weston Weber (baseball, 1982 86): A 15th round draft pick by the Oakland A’s in 1986, Weber was a member of the North Central Conference champi onship team, regional champi onship team and NCAA Division II 4th-place finish team of 1986, He was an NCC Most Valuable Pitcher and a second team All-American as a senior with a 9-1 record and 2.42 ERA (64 Ks in 72.1 innings pitched).
