General Camp Information

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our July camps.  Those who have registered will be refunded.  We appreciate the great interest and outreach from campers and parents near and far and we hope to see you all next summer!

Camp sessions are conducted on MSU Campus. Facilities include: Taylor Center and Schellberg Gym. All are air-conditioned.Click HERE for Camp Map.


To MSU and facilities can be found online at Gyms are denoted as: TC = Taylor Center, MF = Myers Field House & HN = Schellberg Gym. The AmericInn is located one block east of the Taylor Center at 240 Stadium Road, Mankato.

Camp Information & Schedules

All camp information and schedules are posted online no later than two weeks prior to camp. No mailings will be sent.

Drop Off & Pick Up

Commuter campers are dropped off /picked up outside the respective gym. Do not park in Lot 5, 8 or 9 weekdays, 7am-6pm. You will be ticketed. Parking is FREE in lot 20 located on the corner of Warren Street and Stadium Road.


Parking for overnight campers will be directly communicated by email. Instruction to which MSU Lot will be communicated. Campers are NOT allowed to use their vehicle for the duration of camp. Commuters and parents wishing to watch part of camp park in Purple Lot 20 (free).

Camp Meals

Lunch will be served at the University Dining Hall. Daily options for campers with dietary needs (vegan, gluten free, peanut free, etc) are provided. Camp fee for overnight campers includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Camp fee for commuter campers includes lunch only.

What To Bring

All campers, overnight & commuter, are advised to bring: court shoes, kneepads and a gym bag to secure all belongings during and between sessions. Campers are also encouraged to bring extra socks, kneepads, t-shirts and spandex to change into after each session. Overnight campers are advised to bring all necessary toiletries, practice clothing (3 per day recommended) and an umbrella. Campers are advised to bring a small amount of money for nighttime snacks and Camp Store items.

Overnight Housing

Campers will be housed in the AmericInn less than a block away off campus. Specific details will be emailed as the camp date nears. 

Roommate Request

Every effort is made to ensure campers roommate requests are granted. Rooms are assigned based on request and age.


MSU Volleyball Campers are constantly supervised throughout the camp. Each camper is assigned a camp counselor who takes roll call at each session. Camp Counselors stay overnight in the AmericInn performing nightly room checks to ensure all campers are accounted for and in their proper room. This allows for easy location if an emergency should occur.

Training Staff

A certified sports medicine trainer is on staff at all times and available to campers for the duration of camp. Any chronic injuries, illness or other health related issues should be expressed in writing prior to camp and discussed at check-in.

In the unlikely event that a serious illness or camp inhibiting injury occurs the emergency contact will be immediately notified.
