I hope that the beautiful weather we are having this Fall finds you in good spirits.
Our football team is off to a great start and we will look to continue our success as we compete this weekend at Blakeslee Stadium against Wayne State. Both teams are ranked and the game should live up to the billing under the lights of Blakeslee Stadium. I am proud of our team and I am hoping that you are too.
We have a number of exciting opportunities for you to experience.
1. We have replica jerseys that are available for your purchase on-line. For those of you who have been involved in this program before you will know that the Jerseys are authentic, designed to your specification and affordable. The delivery of the jerseys will be to your door step and should arrive around Christmas. As always the proceeds of the sales go directly to the football program.
2. We are also conducting a raffle that gives the winner an opportunity to take 7 day cruise for two in the month of February in 2010. The raffle tickets are $25 each and you need not be present to win. The drawing will take place at halftime of our last home game (FYI this game has been moved from a start time of 1:00, to a start time of 2:00). 3. We are also in the process of raising money for Field Turf at Blakeslee Stadium. If you have any interest in getting involved in this process please contact me at todd.hoffner@mnsu.edu or (507) 317-5400. Our projected installation of an artificial surface is spring of 2010.
