Maverick Football Signs 21 Players of National Signing Day

Minnesota State head football coach Jeff Jamrog announced the addition of 21 student-athletes on Wednesday, the first, athletes could officially sign their letter of intent. The class is Jamrog’s second as coach of MSU and features 10 players on both offense and defense, as well as one place kicker.

Minnesota State finished 2005 with an overall record of 2-9, 0-6 in the NCC. 18 of the new Mavericks are from Minnesota or Wisconsin, two from Nebraska and one from Texas.

Last season’s benchmark class for Jamrog included 12 true freshman who started or contributed significantly right away.
