You can submit your papers to D2L anytime, anywhere. Your paper will be reviewed by a trained tutor and 48 hours later you will be given feedback about how to improve your paper all via D2L! You are already enrolled in this awesome program! Simply log in to your D2L account and check it out! (If you can't see this option in D2L—contact SSS!)

Deadline for withdrawal of spring classes is Friday, April 9^th!

Don't withdraw without talking to your advisor! If you are not expecting to pass a class or expect a low grade in a class, now is the time to meet with your SSS advisor to not only discuss the ramifications of your choices, but brainstorm ideas of how to pull your grade up in the class.

"Beauty Queen of Leenane"

Performance dates: March 24^th, 25^th, 26^th, 27^th

Sign up for a ticket in SSS before March 17^th. Please indicate which performance date you want to attend.

Set in 1989 in the small village of Leenane in Connemara, Ireland, the play centers on the life of Maureen Folan, a 40-year-old maid who is the sole caregiver to her 70-year-old mother Mag. The Folan cottage is visited by the brothers Ray and Pato Dooley. The glimmer of a romance sparks up, then sputters out between Maureen and Pato, with ultimately disastrous results.

Don't pay for that concert ticket—request a music voucher from SSS!

Please stop by Student Support Services to sign up for vouchers to MSU Musical Performances. Only one voucher can be given out for each performance but you can sign up for as many performances as you want!

SSS is unable to provide vouchers for the following dates:

When using a voucher, please remember to arrive early—at least 15-20 minutes before the start of the performance. A voucher pays for your ticket but does not guarantee your admittance. Your ticket may be sold if you fail to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start of the performance.

Duluth Trip! May 9 - May 11

Forms and $20 deposit are due by noon Tuesday, March 31!

Anyone planning to join us will need to look at the three colleges' graduate school programs and let SSS know if there are any graduate program advisors you would like to meet with individually at the three universities. Spring break may provide you with time in your schedule to spend on this. We only want students meeting with programs they have a sincere interest in (as we don't want to waste any advisors time). If there's no program at one, two or all of the colleges, that is fine. Please note a request to not visit with any of the programs needs to be noted at SSS just the same as the ones that you do want to visit with.
