The undergraduate research center (URC) helps students set themselves apart from their peers, improve their resumes and gain real-world experience. Opportunities include the undergraduate research symposium, grant opportunities, internships, mentor opportunities, and more.
We ensure that all students with disabilities have equal access to all opportunities at Minnesota State Mankato. We coordinate accommodations for eligible students and serve as a resource for faculty, staff and the University community in their efforts to assure access for all.
Our trained staff of graduate and undergraduate tutors can guide students through the process of writing an effective paper, preparing for an important exam, or completing a challenging assignment. Along the way, students of all abilities obtain the skills needed to become more confident about succeeding in their academic endeavors.
We offer free, confidential individual or group counseling for enrolled Minnesota State University, Mankato students. The Counseling Center also maintains a multidisciplinary training program for master’s and doctoral-level students in counseling, psychology, and social work.
Institutional Diversity actively promotes a campus-wide cross-cultural understanding and appreciation of differences. Our staff provides direct services to students, and hosts enriching educational programs, cultural activities and insightful conferences for area youth, students, faculty and staff.
The LGBT Center began as a small haven for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students a few decades ago. Today, we’re a valued resource on an increasingly diverse campus. We remain committed to maintaining a peaceful and comfortable environment for students to achieve their goals. To that end, we organize a number of community events, education panels and more.
