If you could start college over, knowing what you know now, what would you do differently?

• Study more  
• Seek tutoring
• Talk to an academic advisor as soon as possible
• Focus more on school
• Get to know your professors and visit them in their office
• Don’t “cram”
• Attend every class
• Be more organized and use a planner
• Don’t procrastinate
• Learn time management skills
• Go for extra credit
• Don’t sleep in classes
• Get involved on campus earlier
• Go to on-campus programs and events
• Get to know people and make new friends

What advice do you have for students to be successful?

 

• Redefine your college experience & become someone great
• Enjoy it & get as much out of college as you can
• Work as hard as you play
• Be outgoing & meet new people
• Ask for help when you need it
• Take advantage of all opportunities
• Try new activities on campus
• Stay in the residence halls your first year
• Stay motivated & stay positive
• Don’t overload yourself
• Set and maintain personal goals
• Have fun!!!
