With a diverse background of experiences from around the world, Caryn has been Director of International Programs since 2005. She has worked internationally for the U.S. Information Agency and for the State Department in Washington, D.C. and New York City. One of her most valued experiences was volunteering for a year with a women's center in Prishtina, Kosovo. Caryn has lived in Germany, Chile, and Italy and has been fortunate to visit Australia, China, Ghana, Scotland, New Zealand and many European countries. She speaks German, Spanish and Albanian.
Laura joined the Kearney International Center staff in the Fall of 2010. During her undergraduate years, Laura studied abroad in India, Greece, Turkey, and Tanzania. She loves to travel and this past year visited South Australia, Norway, and Sweden on behalf of MSU. Laura earned her Master's Degree from the University of Minnesota in Educational Policy and Administration.
Christine is a second-year Master's student in the Department of Counseling & Student Personnel. She studied abroad for a semester in Australia as an undergraduate student at Gustavus Adolphus College. Christine enjoys advising students on the many choices for study abroad programs and has experience in career services.
As MSU's first exchange student at the University of South Australia, David enjoys sharing his experience with students during advising appointments and classroom presentations. David is a senior International Business major. He is also the President for the student group Cultural Connections. Contact him to get involved!
Justin has worked for the International Programs Office since August of 2010. He is a senior Economics major and has traveled extensively. Justin studied abroad on MSU's exchange program in Rouen, France.
Maika joined the International Programs Office in the Fall of 2011. She is a first-year Dietetics major and is hoping to study abroad in Australia.
