You must be accepted to the College of Business. All students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing, with a minimum GPA of 2.7. MSU students must enroll in at least 12 credits while at IFI.
Our Fall Nomination Deadline has been set to April 30th at the latest.
1. No students shall be admitted without prior nomination by her/his home university (an Email from the home university stating the family name, first name, birth date, gender and email address of the student) all information are needed to create their informatics account in advance.
2. Once the student will be officially nominated, we will contact him / her directly by e-mail (May 2nd ) to inform him / her about the online coming procedures (administrative, housing and course selection.)
3. Upon receipt of the nominees list, we will send a letter of acceptance to the students.
- On-line registration / Application form: mid May
- On-line Housing options & selection: end of May to early June
- On-line course selection: late June (exact dates to be anounced yearly)
As far as accommodation is concerned, we work on a "first come, first served basis". The sooner the application reaches us, the more chances your students have to get a room in a university residence.

Students on the this exchange are required to take one French language or culture course.
Rouen is a city in the province of Normandy in Northwestern France. The city is just one hour from Paris and 45 minutes to the ocean. The metro area of Rouen has approximately five hundred thousand people. Rouen is known for its beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral, half timbered buildings and as the location where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in 1431.
ESC Rouen started in 1871, with the IFI extension beginning operation in 1985.
IFI - Rouen has a similar calendar to MSU. The fall semester starts in early September and ends in mid December. The spring semester starts in early January and ends in mid May.
Students have the choice of staying in student housing or arranging a local apartment.
MSU Students attending IFI - Rouen must obtain 6 month student visa. Students will register with Campus France as a first step in obtaining their visa. A passport and acceptance letter are required before a visa application can be processed. This link in English has the form for your visa application.
