The Center for Academic Success has a strict policy of not working out homework problems for the students. Instead, we will help students with the topics that may be covered in the homework so that the students can complete the homework on their own. Students are welcome to work with their homework while in the center but we will never work out homework problems for a student.
This policy extends to online and offline homework assignments and take-home exams. Any requests or attempts to have a tutor work out a problem that has been posted through programs such as D2L or OWL will be ignored.
Not adhering to these policies is grounds for termination for any tutor that works in the Center for Academic Success. Students found soliciting help with homework problems will be informed of these policies and will be kindly asked to work with the homework on their own. In the case of students continuously attempting to have a tutor work out homework problems for them, the student may be kindly asked to leave the Center for Academic Success.
