All students seeking any kind of employment at Minnesota State University, Mankato must be able to lawfully accept employment in the United States at the time of employment as prescribed in the Immigration Reform and Control Act. Ordinarily, a state issued driver's license and a social security card will be sufficient evidence, but other appropriate documents may be required.
Programs below are available to students who demonstrate financial need and otherwise meet program and application requirements: Federal Work-Study, Federal Stafford Student Loan, Minnesota State Work-Study, Federal Perkins Student Loans, Student Education Loan Fund (SELF). To apply, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the academic year in which financial assistance is needed. Applications for these financial resources should be filed early in the calender year.
