For the last five academic years, the MSU Department of Theatre & Dance has sent a cast of four junior and senior students to area high schools to present scenes from William Shakespeare plays as they relate to a selected theme. This production is called Shakespeare to Go.
Working with a graduate student director, the cast explores such themes as love, putting it into context by presenting scenes from a variety of The Bard's plays. Students are paid a small stipend for each performance.
