Micah talks about his Minnesota State Mankato experience

NEWS FLASH!!! At the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in Omaha, NE, in January, Micah WON the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition. He will be competing on a national stage in Washington, D.C., in April.

Micah J. L. Kronlokken (as of November 2007) is a junior Theatre Arts BFA candidate in Acting from North Mankato who was last seen as "CB" in the Studio production Dog Sees God and “Skimbleshanks” in Cats. He made his Minnesota State Mankato collegiate debut as “Moorish Thief” in Man of La Mancha, following that with appearances in Urinetown, Beauty and the Beast, Gypsy, Peter Pan, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and as “Brother Ladvenue” in The Lark, for which he received a Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship nomination. He has appeared in 11 Highland Summer Theatre productions: Joseph and the Amazing … (1998), Carousel (1999), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (2000), Once Upon A Mattress (2001), State Fair (2002), The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (2003), Show Boat (2004), Cinderella (2005), as “Eugene Florczyk” in Grease (2006) and in the chorus of The Robber Bridegroom, “Amos” in The Runner Stumbles and “Hugo Peabody” in Bye Bye Birdie, all in 2007. He was a member of the 2006 children’s theatre touring production Rising Sun, Rising Moon. He is the 2007-08 recipient of the Paul J. Hustoles Theatre Scholarship.
