Reid talks about his Minnesota State Mankato experience
Reid Strand (as of November 2007) is a senior Theatre Arts BFA Acting candidate from Fargo, ND, who appeared most recently as "Bustopher Jones" in the Mainstage 2007 opener, Cats. He made his MSU debut as “Bob” in the Mainstage production of Marvin’s Room. Last season he appeared as “Scarlet O’Higgins” in Peter Pan, as “Cleric” in The Lark and “Man in Park/Prior I/ Eskimo” in Angels in America. Previously he appeared as “Monk” in Man of La Mancha, “Cardinal Bellarmin” in Galileo and “Senator Fipp” in Urinetown. He appeared in the Spring Collection 2007 dance concert. Reid was a member of 2005’s children’s theatre tour, Brave Little Tailor. He made his Highland Summer Theatre debut in the chorus of Grease (2006) and was in the chorus of Bye Bye Birdie (2007). He is the 2007-08 recipient of the Holiday Inn Theatre Scholarship.

He was cast in several roles in Angels in America: Millennium Approaches: “Man in Park/Prior I/ Eskimo.”

As a member of the children's theatre touring production of Brave Little Tailor, Reid was ready to fill any shoes ...even if they were stilts.
