Mass audition info for
A CHORUS LINE
THE MANDRAKE
and
November

When: Monday, August 27, 2012
Where: The Andreas Theatre (to start)
What Time: Starting at 4:00 PM (sign up for times; starting with singer/dancer types)
—Monologues for the plays from 4:00 to 5:00 PM; and 7:00 to when needed.
—Dance auditions for A Chorus Line begin at 6:00 PM in PA 126; singing will immediately follow
Callbacks: Immediately following

A Chorus Line auditionees please note:
* All those auditioning should wear proper dance attire and dance shoes. Women should bring character shoes and dance in them. You will stay in this attire throughout the entire audition.
*All who are auditioning must sing; 16 bars from a Broadway classic (uptempo or ballad) written before 1976 (music must be clearly marked and in the key in which you will sing it).
*Callbacks will use music from A Chorus Line; those called back for Paul, Shelia & Cassie may be asked to read from the script.

The Mandrake auditionees please note: (See character descriptions.)
*Prepare a 30-60 second monologue from the script and take a very strong, physical attack
*If you wish, prepare a 16 bar acapella “original madrigal” (there will be singing throughout!)
*Callbacks will be cold readings from the script

November auditionees please note: (See character descriptions.)
*Prepare a one-minute monologue from any David Mamet play
*Callbacks will be cold readings from the script
