Ren McCormack (Brad Willcuts, center) says good bye to his dancing ways in Chicago.
When he arrives in Bomont, Ren finds a different life. In church, he is introduced to kids who welcome he and his mother, but also ...
... townspeople, headed by Rev. Shaw Moore (Ben Schrag, right) who are dead set against allowing their children to enjoy music and to dance.
The girls of Bomont are 'holding out for a hero.' Among them is Ariel Moore, the reverend's daughter (Justine Carroll, center), Wendy Jo (Stacy Marie Ellerbroek, seated left), Rusty (Shawn Ashley Howland, seated right) and Urleen (Krystyn Spratt, lying right).
In the end, the kids get to have their dance.
