With instruction from
department technical director Randy York, students begin dismantling the audience
ramp. The rack in the foreground is used to store audience chairs.

Folks from SMC Construction
brought in two trucks that pumped out the pool's water.

Scenic designer Tom
Bliese makes sure the hoses are attached correctly before pumping the water.

It's all hands on deck
... and chairs ... and water.

If you look closely,
you can see the haze over the 80-degree water as it comes in contact with
the much cooler outside air. Tom Bliese begins to squeegee.

As the water level
recedes, workers use the liner to move it to the hose.

The last of the water
is mopped from the floor beneath the pool.
