As the train comes into River City, nobody could imagine who is on board. Those being
welcomed by the conductor (Jeff A. Smith, left) are (left to right): Reid Strand, Clayton Rutschow,
Mathias Becker, Cody Gerrels, Micah J. L. Kronlokken and, his face covered by the paper,
Andrew D. Umphrey as Harold Hill.
With the help of his friend Marcellus Washburn (Tobias Miller, left of center)
Harold Hill convinces the townspeople they've got "Trouble."
He enlists the help of the unwitting members of the schoolboard
(left to right): Jacey Squires (Ellis Jones), Eward Dunlop (Bruce Gray),
Oliver Hix (Frank Selvey) and Olin Britt (Doug Peterson).
Among the other townspeople who help are the mayor's wife, Eulalie MacKecknie Shinn
(Christina Dyrland Smith) and the librarian's little brother Winthrop (Cedar Mowrey).
Harold soon convinces the townspeople that what they need is a boys' band.
But what Harold really wants is the love of Marian the librarian (Mallory Martin)
who, with Amaryllis (Bridget Foy) is looking for her "Someone."
Harold also gets lots of help from the kids in town, including (left of Marian):
Zaneeta Shinn (Tristin Rupp), Tom Djilas (Travis Shafer).
Marcellus (Tobias Miller) also enlists the help of his "Shipoopi," Ethel Toffelmier
(Sara Jump) and the other Pick-A-Little-Ladies (left to right): Mrs. Squires (Meredith Larson),
Maud Dunlop (Jessica Dougherty) and Alma Hix (Heather Ann Folsom).
The town enjoys an evening at the ice cream sociable.
Before finally confronting Harold Hill who, by that time, has won them all over.
