The Robber Bridegroom is the story of Jamie Lockhart (Joey Ford), the Bandit of the Woods.
And the story takes place in a swamp near the Natchez Trace.
Where Rosamund (Claire Wellin), the daughter of the richest planter in the county, becomes the object of affection. Here, Goat (Jared Oxborough) is sent to make sure Rosamund doesn't survive.
Rosamund's father, Clement Musgrove (Tharen E. Callanan) invites Jamie to his home to meet his daughter.
Using his evil ways, Jamie (aka the Bandit of the Woods) seduces Rosamund.
But because it IS a musical, it all turns our happily ever after.
