Elise Sommer, Social Media Coodinator, Mavs in Action

My name is Elise Sommer, and I am a first-year dental hygiene major from Lewiston, MN. I'm so excited to be a part of Mavs in Action and gain more volunteer experience while also creating relationships with the other members. One of my favorite volunteer experiences was  volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House and preparing a meal for the families. It was rewarding to serve others and see so many happy faces. Volunteering is such a great thing to be involved in and I think everyone should experience it, the end result is an amazing feeling. Volunteering has become apart of my life since high school and I can't imagine a life without it.
